One of the earliest pieces featuring the UNC Ram mascot, adopted in 1924, inspired by Jack “The Battering Ram” Merritt. This year marks the centennial of the beloved Rameses mascot! 100 Years! A truly rare find of UNC memorabilia!
Rameses II came in 1926 and Rameses III in 1933. The advertisement for the college belt buckles are from the 1928 Elon University Student Newspaper, Maroon and Gold.

Believed to be nickel-plated brass, reflecting Hamlin's expertise in metal casting and electroplating.
