Vintage Swatch Deauville, reference GW401, from the 1988 Standard Gents collection. A nautical-themed classic: a crisp navy-and-white vertical stripe dial with black hour and minute hands, a red second hand, and a date window at the 4 to 5 position. The matching navy-and-white striped strap is the original, and it carries through the whole sailor-stripe theme. The dial bears a 1987 Swatch copyright, which is normal for this reference, with the watch issued in the 1988 collection.

The Deauville is a well-loved 80s Swatch and a strong example of the era's graphic, pattern-forward design. Movement is Swiss quartz, marked "swatch SWISS" in red at the bottom of the dial.

Condition: Good vintage, pre-owned, and running. The crystal shows hairline scratches and light surface marks from wear, visible in the photos. The case is solid, and the original striped strap is intact and flexible, with slight yellowing to the keeper loop. Comes with its box.
